JT established a reputation of service to youth development through basketball in every aspect of the sport and in particular helping those in need, either financially or through access to opportunities, or both.
Below are a selection of photos of Justin and some of our grant recipients.

Wellington Fillipino Sports Association
“On behalf of the Wellington Filipino Sports Association, I would like to thank the Justin Toebes Trust for supporting our teams. The funding from the JT Trust played a big part in the teams' preparation for the event (training facilities hire, equipment and gear), and in elevating the overall tournament experience for the players (through snacks, meals and activities).
Yours sincerelyPatrick “

CJL with Lavar Ball
”Thank you for sponsoring me to go to the Lavar Ball camp. It was the best; way better than I ever thought it would be. He was really nice & he even knew my name . My favourite part was when he was giving me advice on my game when he was signing my shoes and my BBB T-shirt, it made me feel really special. I will remember this day forever & I hope that I get to meet him again. Thank you”

Tanerau with Lavar Ball
“I would like to thank the board for sponsoring me so I could attend the Lavar Ball camp. I was super excited when my mum and dad told me the news and couldn't believe I was given this opportunity to meet Lavar.
I had so much fun being coached by him, the dribbling, running and catching, Lavar throwing the ball to me while I was running, learning about the numbering positioning when running the court, that the 2 and 3 should be the fastest and down the court first in their position ready to CATCH and shoot.
I was stoked I got my t shirt signed and most of all a photo with Lavar. Thank you so much, this meant a lot to me and a memory I'll have forever.”

Special Olympics Team
“The very generous grant … that we last tuesday from the Justin Toebes Trust towards our basketball athletes registration fees for National Summer Games has provided a real ray of sunshine in an otherwise wet and misrable few weeks of Wellington weather!”
